I have over 20 years of experience as a storyboard artist at various TV animation studios around Halifax Nova Scotia on many 2d, 3d and stop motion shows. Prior to that I worked 6 years as a character/prop/costume designer at a few TV animation studios in Montreal Quebec, with credits on such shows as Arthur, Mona the Vampire, Inspector Gadget, Care Bears and many others.
I also have experience doing illustrations of archaeological artifacts for academic works and illustrating children's books.
I created rough storyboards for an as yet unreleased -and still under NDA- project for this studio remotely from my home studio in Nova Scotia.
I worked in development and character/prop design (mostly now referred to as art direction) on many projects over my 6 year tenure, with credits on such projects as Arthur, Mona the Vampire, Caillou, Animal Crackers, and The New Adventures of Little Lulu.
Dynamic Graphics employs me with some regularity to help design and create graphic illustrations for various candy lines they work with, in particular the Toxic Waste - Hazardously Sour Candy line. I designed most of their spokesperson characters and Illustrate them for the packaging. I also worked on a one-off comic strip and a quick, limited animation piece for the website.
Though employed mainly as a storyboard artist, I also served DHX over the years in development and art direction. I have credits on such projects as Inspector Gadget, Charlie's Colorform City, Super Why, Little People, Doozers and many others. I also boarded and helped develop a short featuring characters from Charles Schultz' Peanuts.
I worked full time as an in-house storyboard artist on the 2019 production of Care Bears.
